Good Samaritan Cancer Hospital

In many areas of Tanzania, children with complex health conditions face immense obstacles, often missing out on school and social connections due to their circumstances. Our healthcare outreach at Good Samaritan Cancer Hospital seeks to change that by offering these young patients the opportunity for a healthier, happier future.

Our team arrived at Good Samaritan Cancer Hospital on October 21st, ready to provide care to young patients in need. During our two-day camp, we treated six children, including two who required urgent surgeries.

One of these children was Membe, a spirited 6-year-old whose father worried about sending her to school, fearing she might face bullying because of her tumour. After her surgery, Membe now looks forward to joining her classmates with renewed confidence and joy. Her story reminds us that healthcare is not only about treating illness but also about restoring possibilities. Every treatment we provide opens new doors—doors to education, self-assurance, and a future filled with hope.
